Private coaching for the end of a relationship

It ended. You're still living in it.

You reread old messages. You draft the text you won't send. You do fine all day, then 11 p.m. arrives. Breakup Mastery is one-to-one coaching that gets you through the ending of a marriage, a family tie, a friendship, or a business partnership, and out the other side.

Apply for coachingHow it works

Takes about 8 minutes. Every application is read by a person.

"I kept the house, the dog, and the friends. I still couldn't sleep past 4 a.m."

The kind of thing people tell us before they start. Usually the paperwork is done and the ending is not.

Four kinds of breakup

Not every breakup is romantic

Losing a mother, a best friend, or a co-founder can take you apart just as badly. The work is built for all four.

Romantic
The marriage, the engagement, the four years that ended in a text.

You still reach for your phone at 10 p.m. You replay the last fight in the shower. Your friends have stopped asking. We work on the replay first, then on the pattern that keeps choosing it.

Family
The parent you stopped calling. The sibling who sided with them.

Holidays are a negotiation. Every call leaves you feeling twelve years old. We sort out what you owe, what you don't, and what contact (if any) you can live with.

Friendship
The best friend who slowly stopped being one.

No one sends flowers when a friendship ends. You see them in a group photo you weren't in, and it ruins the week. We give that loss the weight it actually has.

Business & partnership
The co-founder, the partner, the firm you built together.

Lawyers are dividing the equity. Nobody is dividing the six years. We help you leave with your judgment intact, so you can trust the next partner and yourself.

The method

The Clean Break Method

Five stages, drawn from decades of research on attachment, grief, trust, boundaries and difficult conversations, and turned into weekly work you can actually do.

01

Steady

Calm the body first

Sleep, breath, and the 2 a.m. spiral. A breakup sets off the same alarm as physical danger. Nobody makes good decisions with that alarm ringing, so we turn it down first.

02

See it straight

Tell the true story

Not the version where they're the villain, and not the one where it's all your fault. We map what actually happened, the pattern you've lived before, and your part in it.

03

Speak

Say it once, clearly

Observations, feelings, needs, requests. You script the conversations you've been avoiding, and the limits you'll hold when they push back.

04

Settle

Close the accounts

Grief, resentment, old promises, shared property, shared friends. You decide what to repair, what to release, and what to forgive, which isn't the same as letting them back in.

05

Step forward

Build what comes next

New routines, new people, a new standard for who gets close. The aim is that the next relationship isn't a rerun of this one.

How it works

Apply. Talk. Get a plan.

Step 1

Apply

Tell us what ended, what you've tried, and what you want. It takes about 8 minutes and stays private.

Step 2

Short call

If it looks like a fit, you'll be invited to a call with our team. We'll look at where you are and whether private coaching makes sense for you.

Step 3

Your plan

You meet Jonathan. Together you map your plan through the five stages, built around your breakup, not a template.

Jonathan Keim

Anyone who has gone through a bad breakup knows how incredibly painful it can be. The hardest part of grieving is how quickly it becomes a downward spiral. I'm an expert at breaking those patterns and helping you find a deeper meaning and a stronger purpose. I've served as an executive for schools that train life coaches, and was instrumental in the training and curriculum development behind certifying over 15,000 coaches worldwide. I've been through several breakups of my own, and I've decided no one should have to go through it alone.

Questions

Before you apply

Is this therapy?

No. This is coaching: structured, practical work on what to do next. If you're dealing with trauma, abuse, or a mental health condition, a licensed clinician should be part of your support, and we'll tell you if we think that's the better first step.

Why do I have to apply?

Because we only take on people we can actually help, and every plan is built around the specific ending you're going through. The application tells us that before anyone gets on a call.

What happens after I apply?

We read every application. If it looks like a fit, you'll get an email inviting you to book a short call. If it isn't, we'll tell you, and point you somewhere useful where we can.

Do you work with all four kinds of breakups?

Yes: romantic, family, friendship, and business or partnership endings. The stages are the same. The conversations, the limits, and the practical details are different.

What does it cost?

It depends on the plan that fits your situation. We go through options on the call, after we understand what you need.

Is my application private?

Yes. Only the Breakup Mastery team reads it, and it's never shared or sold. See our privacy policy.

You don't have to keep replaying it.

Tell us what happened. If we can help, we'll invite you to a call.
